The Buffalo Killers have released two new tracks through their website. The Gabbard brothers split the vocal duties with Andrew singing the lead on “Huma Bird” and Zachary singing lead on “Spend My Last Breath.” The tunes have been on Myspace since September 8. (FYI, the tracks sound A LOT better on the band’s website than they do on Myspace.) A limited-release 45 on Smoke Signals is set to follow. Both songs were recorded at Ultrasuede Studio by John Curley between February and April of 2009.
In other BK news, their Ultrasuede-produced Jimmy Campbell/Rockin’ Horse cover of “Don’t You Ever Think I Cried” is also available. The Killers turned me on to Rockin’ Horse and for that, I will be forever grateful. Looks like they have some new tour dates and an updated merch page with CD’s, downloads and T-Shirts.
